Closed November 4, 2020
This is Superintendent Tracie Bliven. I am calling to inform you that at 8:30 p.m. this evening we confirmed that one of our students has a member of their household that has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, per protocol, our building will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, for deep-cleaning and contact tracing. This decision was made in consultation with health care professionals and is the safest course of action until the testing result of the direct contact(s) to a COVID-19 case is available.
Please note that closing our building is different than closing our school. Teachers will continue to deliver instruction remotely and students will attend their regularly scheduled classes remotely.
Again, Wednesday, November 4th will be a remote learning day for all students. We will update you by early tomorrow evening if we are able to reopen for in-person instruction on Thursday.
Also, all athletic practices and events are cancelled for tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we do our best to keep our community safe.
