Junior Honor Awards

    Kouki Yatani
    Recipients of this award are selected on the basis of a strong interest in innovation and/or information technology, and a high level of achievement in this area.  This award carries with it an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $10.000 per year.

    Recipients of this award are selected on the basis of scholarship in the humanities or social sciences, leadership, and community service. This designation carries with it an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $10,000 per year.

    Candy (Yuhan) Zhou, recipient of the George Eastman Young Leaders Award
    Candy Zhou
    Recipients of this award are selected on the basis of strong leadership experience at school and in the community, high grades and challenging courses, and extensive involvement in extracurricular activities.  This designation carries with it an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $10,000 per year.

    Sarah Eleshaky, recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Science Award

    The annual Bosch and Lomb Science Award is presented to the junior who has attained the highest scholastic standing in the area of science.  As winner of this award, she is eligible to become a University of Rochester Bausch and Lomb Scholar.  This designation carries with it an application waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $10,000 per year.  

    Jack Deutsch, recipient of Alfred University Certificate of Excellence

    This Certificate of Excellence is awarded from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in recognition of outstanding academic achievement in high school mathematics, science, and English through his junior year.  

    Quinn (Benjamin) Palmer, recipient of the Alfred University Scholar Award

    One selected student from the junior class is eligible for this award.  The recipient will receive up to $30,000 per year until graduating from Alfred University.  

    Gwen Gagne, recipient of the Student Sage Award.

    Gwen Gagne

    This award was created to recognize the characteristics of academic excellence and community involvement that have defined Sage students for nearly a century.  The Student Sage Award guarantees a scholarship of $5,000 toward tuition for four years of study at Russell-Sage.

    Kaylianna Clark, recipient of the Wilkes University Colonel Emerging Leader Award

    This award recognizes outstanding achievement in academics and extracurricular activities.  Her demonstrated aptitude in leadership, scholarship, and service has earned her this award.  The award is worth $40,000 over a four-year period.    

    Ryan Wojtkowiak, recipient of the Clarkson Achievement Award

    This award recognizes academically strong juniors with leadership qualities who positively impact their school and community.  This award is worth $48,000 over four years.

    Owen Lawrence, recipient of the Clarkson Leadership Award

    This award is designed to annually recognize junior students who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, positively impact their high school and local community, and have a proven academic record.  This award is the highest honor at Clarkson University and is worth $60,000 over four years.  

    Olivia Flaitz and Kaylianna Clark, recipients of the Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award
    Olivia and Kaylianna
    This award recognizes a junior who has made outstanding contributions to her school and community.  Through activities and service, the recipient has demonstrated superior integrity, trustworthiness, self-confidence, and intellect.  Should they enroll at Wells College, they are eligible to receive $10,000 per year for four years of study at Wells College.

    Liam Carstens, recipient of the Rensselaer Medal Scholarship.

    The Rensselaer scholarship is awarded to one member of the junior class who demonstrates the potential for academic success at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, excels in advanced math and science, and is involved in extracurricular activities.  Each medalist who is accepted and enrolls in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will receive a medal scholarship with a minimum value of $25,000 per year.
