Congratulations, Junior Award Winners!
Zachari Bloxsom and Wyatt Gardner have been selected to receive the Alfred State Pioneer Leaders Award. This is a pre-scholarship granted to high school juniors who demonstrate academic potential. The pre-scholarship guarantees a minimum of $1,500 per year for students pursuing a 2-year associate's degree and $4,000 per year for those seeking a 4-year bachelor's degree.
William Deninger is the recipient of the Rensselaer Medal Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to one member of the Junior Class who demonstrates potential for academic success at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and excels in advanced math and science. Each medalist who is accepted and enrolls at RPI will receive a medal scholarship, with a minimum value of $40,000 per year.
Katen Donlon is the recipient of the annual George Eastman Young Leaders Award. Recipients of this award are selected based on strong leadership experience at school and in the community, high grades in challenging courses, and extensive involvement in extracurricular activities. This designation carries an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $5,000 per year.
Mackenzie Towner is the recipient of the annual Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award. Recipients for this award are selected on the basis of scholarship in the humanities or social studies, leadership, and community service. This designation carries an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $5,000 per year.
Micah McClain is the recipient of the annual Xerox Award. Recipients for this award are selected based on a strong interest in innovation and/or information technology, and a high level of achievement in this area. This award carries an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $5,000 per year.
Boden Whelpley is the recipient of the annual Bausch and Lomb Science Award, presented to the junior who has attained the highest scholastic standing in the area of science. The winner is eligible to become a University of Rochester Bausch and Lomb Scholar. This designation carries an application fee waiver and consideration for a merit scholarship of at least $5,000 per year.
Henry Lawrence has been awarded the RIT Computing Medal. This award is given to students who demonstrate leadership in school and/or community activities and show an interest and ability in the field of computing. Each student will automatically receive an undergraduate scholarship of $24,000 per year if they are accepted and enroll at RIT for any undergraduate program following graduation from high school.
Anna Agnello has been awarded the Alfred University Scholars Award. One selected student from the junior class is eligible for this award. The recipient will receive up to $30,000 per year until graduation from Alfred University.
Boden Whelpley is the recipient of the Clarkson Leadership Award. This award is designed to annually recognize junior students who demonstrate strong leadership qualities, positively impact their high school and local community, and have a proven academic record. This award is the highest honor at Clarkson and is worth $100,000 over four years.
Henry Lawrence is the recipient of the Clarkson Achievement Award. This award recognizes academically strong juniors with leadership qualities who positively impact their school and community. The award is worth $80,000 over 4 years.
Eleanor Drozeski and Alexis Kuhn are the recipients of the Almira College Key Award. This award recognizes high scholastic achievement, leadership, citizenship, and participation in extracurricular activities. This award is worth $88,000 over a four-year period of enrollment at Elmira College.
Micah McClain has been awarded the Ceramic Association of NY (CANY) Award Certificate. He is eligible to receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship, renewable for 4 years, should he apply and be accepted to the Inamori School of Engineering at Alfred University.
Noelle Emerson and Mackenzie Towner are the recipients of the Student Sage Award. The Award was created to recognize the characteristics of academic excellence and community involvement that have defined Sage students for nearly a century. The Student Sage Award guarantees a scholarship of $20,000 plus an additional $1,000- guaranteeing a minimum of $21,000 per year over the course of four years of study at Russell-Sage.Eleanor Drozeski has been awarded the Rochester Institute of Technology Women in STEM Award. This award is given to students who have distinguished themselves academically, are active and involved in their school and community, and demonstrate high achievement, ability, and interest in science, computing, robotics, and/or math. Each student will automatically receive an undergraduate scholarship of $24,000 per year if they are accepted and enroll at RIT following high school graduation.

Sam Bensley, Zachari Bloxsom, Michael Dobson, Katen Donlon, Noelle Emerson, and Maeve Turner are the recipients of this year's St. Bonaventure Junior Scholarship. Students who exhibit leadership qualities through their involvement in school and/or community activities were chosen for this award. Each recipient will receive $22,000 annually or $88,000 over 4 years of study at St. Bonaventure.

Comptroller's Achievement Awards
