SPECIAL EDUCATION
Our special education services provide for the individual needs of the student including academic, social, physical and management needs. These are provided with the goal of serving the student in the least restrictive environment. In the Alfred-Almond Central School District, the first consideration is the education of students with disabilities in the general education setting. Special education means specially designed educational services or programs to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities as determined by the Committee on Special Education (CSE). Alfred-Almond Central School CSE is dedicated to providing appropriate educational opportunities for all students.
