NYS Screening Requirements
Screenings
Students will receive the following State Mandated Screenings
- Growth (height and weight): Every year
- Vision: Distance- new entrants and Pre-K, K-1,3, 5, 7, and 11
- Vision: Near-new entrants and Pre-K, K-1,3, 5, 7, and 11
- Vision: Color- new entrants
- Hearing: New entrants and Pre-K, K, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11
- Scoliosis: Females in grades 5 and 7, males in grade 9
